Write a story where the picture is the start of chapter 4 – what will happen next?

Sheerluck peered down into the cavity created when Villanous feel to his death, breaking the support arms of the winch that would lift him out of the dungeon. He was glad he had got rid of the threat and mad the world a safer place, but he needed a new strategy to get out of the room. If only Villanous had not taken the key to the locked door with him….

“Egad, man…. I am so glad my feet aren’t any bigger or otherwise I’d be over the edge!” thought Sheerluck as he puzzled about how he had finished up in this precarious position.
” I think it must have been that cad McLaren who sent me this way just because I can’t get the hang of how to use however.”

It was the strange grinding noise that drew Detective Sheerluck into the room at the back of the wind mill. From there he could see the remains of the mill stone slowly revolving around on the mill floor. To his right there appeared to be a stone cast of some description. How was this linked to the death of the villages? Was this where the plague began? Could all the deaths be traced back to the broken dwon mill?
As Detective Sheerluck pondered these thoughts he was again struck by the strange grinding noise. This time it appeared to be coming from the floor below.

As detective Sheerluck surveyed the situation by sheer luck a monstrous, black rat ran across the boards and set the wooden wheel turning. Detective Sheerluck was able to jump across the wheel and from this postition

Detective Sheerluck stood motionless, peering down into the cold cellar below. He knew that he didn’t have very much time left. It would be only a matter of time before he would be seen or heard. Time was crucial. He knew that the two men were in there somewhere. He had to reach them before it was too late. Roxanne’s life depended on him now.
